February 11, 2021 marked the 100th Day of School. While this school year may be a little different than usual, CCSA’s teachers and students have done an outstanding job of staying engaged and positive as they navigate the uncharted territory of remote learning. I think we can all agree that if there was ever a year to celebrate 100 days of school, it would be the 2020/2021 school year.
To mark this momentous occasion, our two kindergarten classes became centenarians for the day. Our 3rd graders also participated in the festivities by answering the question “If I had 100 items I would choose…”. The responses included 100 puppies, 100 lizards, $100 dollars, and 100 cups of orange juice. One very specific 3rd grader stated “I would want 99 hot Cheetos and 1 baseball bat.”
We are so proud of the hard work each and every student has put in these first 100 days, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of school year brings.
