CCSA’S 21/22 school year is officially in full swing. We were thrilled to welcome students back into the building on August 30^th for the first day of school. Students and families were greeted by the familiar faces of friends and teachers who they haven’t seen in person in nearly two years. They also felt the warm CCSA welcome of the High School Spirt team who lined the halls and cheered as students made their way to their classrooms.

There is a lot to look forward to this coming school year. In addition to having the halls filled with students again, athletics has the all-clear to resume competitive play. We are also excited to kick start our new math intervention program. As we’ve done with literacy with great success, we now have a team of math specialists who will work individually and in small groups to help students reason about the relationships in numbers and make connections in mathematics. As always, our teachers have many great arts-integrated lessons planned for all grade levels.
